We feel it is important that residents are mentally and physically stimulated. This impacts on their general wellbeing and sense of worth. It also enables people to retain their independence. We ensure that our activities are tailored to our residents, and that they suit all abilities. Animals can have a very therapeutic benefit to people, and we welcome our visiting dogs and cats. We have even had someone’s horse in the garden!
We occasionaly rear our own chickens

Join in a prize crossword competition, start a jigsaw, or read the newspapers. Maybe just have a chat.
During the afternoon, join the staff in one of our many activities, either indoors, or in the garden. Go for a walk. A staff member is always willing to accompany you if you wish.
In the evening, why not relax with a cup of tea or your favorite tipple, catch up with the news on TV, or chat with friends.
We celebrate various days throughout the year, including Burns, St Patrick’s Day, Chinese New Year and July 4th. In fact, any excuse for a party!
