We are very proud of the Staff at Rose Villa. They promote the ethos of what we wish to achieve, and they do this willingly and cheerfully, as we promote laughter but always giving dignified assistance where necessary. You will see this when you visit us. The accent on the Care that we provide is to ensure independence and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff always have time for a chat, as well as organising activities to keep our residents involved and interested in life.
Entry into the Home is via a security finger print system. Once inside our entrance hall we have written on our wall our Motto.
The lounge is a large open area with various seating options. Do you want your own favorite chair to sit in? No problem!
In the lounge are 2 TVs and a DVD player, which are visible from every angle.
We also have a bookcase, absolutely bursting with books and DVD’s. Communication is important to the residents. This can be in different forms. As well as letters and telephone calls (we have a portable telephone that can be taken to a resident) we have a Skype facility to maintain contact between residents, families and friends.

ROSE VILLA "your home"
the care you expect...
The decision to move to residential care is never easy. However much we try to help
parents or elderly relatives remain at home, there’s a point beyond which it becomes
just impossible or unsafe.
Rose Villa Care Home is well established family-run Residential Home est. in 1983.
Rose Villa is situated close to the river Hamble, at Warsash, Sarisbury Green, within reach
of Southampton, Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
Our aim throughout is to provide a friendly and homely environment, in which we are
able to fully meet our residents’ needs, and that our residents are treated with
dignity, privacy and respect at all times. The staff at Rose Villa are fully aware
that our residents come to us to enhance their quality of life, and with this in mind,
we aim to provide plenty of stimulation to allow them to have fulfilment in their lives.
All our employees are given the opportunity to train, and assume a wide
variety of responsibility and to fully develop their careers. Training for staff is one
of our priorities. Rose Villa is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
and is inspected regularily to ensure all standards of quality and safety are met.
We care for people who require long or short stay residential care,
respite and day care, within a lovingly converted Edwardian residence that still has
much of its original character while being suitable for modern care practice
and also dementia care. Our carers provide 24 hour help with mobility, washing,
dressing and personal care.
Personal furniture and cherished possessions are welcomed. Residents are encouraged
to carry on their usual routines and activities, such as choosing their own GP.

This is a Home in every sense of the word.

An attractive conservatory allows enjoyment of the expansive gardens even in inclement weather. However the gardens are not only intended as a view from the windows, residents are encouraged to make use of them all year round. Many a social programme is held there.
We at Rose Villa recognise that nutritious food and drink play an important part of dailyroutine, not only for nourishment and dietary purposes, but also in the social aspect of the Home. Carers ensure that meals are an unhurried occasion, and provide the opportunity for social interaction as well as nourishment.
Medical needs are met by local G.P.’s and other health professionals, and we have a good rapport with our local district Nursing Team. Visiting specialists provide services like chiropody, hairdressing, religious support, dental and optical care. Specific needs will be discussed in depth on arrival and integrated into the Care Plan.
